DESCRIPTION:Every year\, the Chestnut Festival is held in the Nakayama Area of Iyo City. This year will be the 36th Edition of this festival.The “Nakayama Chestnut Festival” will be held around the outdoor music plaza in Kurinosato Park to improve the image of Iyo City’s specialty Nakayama chestnuts and revitalize the region through interaction between urban and rural areas. At the venue\, there will be a chestnut picking competition\, chestnut catching\, giveaways of boiled chestnuts and burr chestnuts\, and a chestnut fruit fair. There will also be booths set up by various organizations in the city\, where you can enjoy chestnut sushi\, chestnut okowa\, chestnut yokan\, and more. In addition to exhibiting fire engines and experiencing water cannon\, there will also be a variety of events such as Japanese drum performances and a performance by a famous Enka Singer.This year\, the headlining Enka Singer is 21-time Kohaku Uta Gassen participant\, Toba Ichiro.
