Farewell Beach Day & BBQ

• Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026
• Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Feel free to arrive whenever you like or stay later!)
• Place: Kashima Island(Hojo, Matsuyama, Ehime)

 REMINDER: GETTING THERE

• By train: Meet outside Iyo-Hōjō Station by 10:45 AM if you want to walk down to the port with the main group.
• By car: Meet directly at the Kashima Island Ferry Terminal by 11:00 AM.
• Note: It’s not required for us to go together at the same time. Everyone is welcome to head over to the island at whatever time they please! The ferry runs back and forth every few minutes.

 COSTS & LOGISTICS

• Ferry Ride: ¥230 round-trip (Paid individually at the port terminal).
• Food & Drinks:
  • If you opted for the AJET BBQ, please be prepared to pay up to ¥2000. This will include the rent for the grill, BBQ meat, some veggies, and some snacks! You can still bring your own snacks and drinks if you’d like. 
  • If you opted for BYO, don’t forget to pack your favorite grillables, drinks, and snacks!
  • Note: There’s a small shop in the guesthouse on Kashima Island, but we recommend buying your stuff at the supermarket near Hojo Station for more options! 

 WHAT TO BRING

• Don’t forget your beach essentials! We highly recommend bringing picnic blankets/mats, beach towels, sunscreen, hats, hydration, and any outdoor games or music speakers you want to share with the group. 
• There are also free-to-use toilets and shower rooms in the area,and people can most likely change in there.
