Ehime Pride 🌈
In 2025, Matsuyama hosted the first-ever Ehime Pride Parade, marking an exciting milestone for LGBTQ+ visibility in the prefecture.
The event brought together community members, allies, families, and supporters from across Ehime and Shikoku to celebrate diversity and inclusion.
As the local community continues to grow, additional Pride events, workshops, and gatherings are expected in the future.

LGBTQ+ Nightlife in Ehime
Ehime’s LGBTQ+ nightlife is concentrated primarily in Matsuyama’s Nibancho entertainment district.

Many venues cater to specific communities, which is common throughout Japan’s LGBTQ+ nightlife culture.
Disclaimer: LGBTQ+ venues in Matsuyama are often small, independently operated businesses. Hours, membership policies, and operating status can change, so it’s a good idea to check social media or contact venues directly before visiting.
