Hojo Kashima Festival 2023

The Hojo area of Matsuyama is holding the Kashima Festival from May 3rd to May 4th. On May 3rd, the first day of the festival, the Kaineri Odori will be held on the shores of Kashima Island. The following day, a large shimenawa rope that weighs about 1 ton will be replaced in Tamari and Kantojima in Kashima Island.
